Why isn’t my/this/xyz club in your listings?
The club listings are not exhaustive, they are either from personal experience, the result of a lot of research on active UK martial arts websites (such as Bullshido and Cagewarriors), or they have been submitted to this website via the Contribute page. The best way for you to get your favourite club listed is to send in the details.
I’ve submitted my listing, but it’s not on the site, why?
I may not have got around to it yet, so feel free to send me a reminder. However, it may be that your club has not been included because it doesn’t fit in with the basic (and subjective) tenets of what I think an MMA club should be offering. It may be that your club appears to be a McDojo, or that it offers no discernible grappling instruction, when the ground element is pivotal to MMA. Furthermore, if your club doesn’t offer some kind of rolling, randori, or ji-yu kumite element to its classes - basically free sparring at or close to full-contact, it probably won’t be included. But you could try adding your club to listings like this one or the Martial Arts Register.

10 years as a wado ryu karate black belt (unfortunately with a discernible break for university in the middle); 1 year in BJJ. Oxfordshire-born, I now live in London, although I still train regularly in Oxford.
